So, what is the main reason that women get breast enhancement surgery? It’s the most popular cosmetic surgery in America, but it carries it with the stigma of curiosity and judgment. People want to know why, and sometimes you aren’t treated right because of it. So, what is making women want to get breast surgery? There are an awful lot of women have it done each year. Is it because they’re shallow? Desperate for attention?
The answers on why women get breast implants are a little surprising.
The majority of women who opt for breast implants are between the ages of 30-39, with the next highest group being between the ages of 40-54.
See, the highest group getting breast implants are women who are between the ages of 30 to 39. What does that mean? These aren’t recent college graduates, these aren’t porn stars, and these aren’t young women out looking for a date.
What Is Their Motivation?
A lot of women between the ages of 30 to 39 have already had a child, and some of the might have lost breast volume after a pregnancy. Or, if they’ve recently lost a lot of weight after a pregnancy, that could have had an impact too. There’s just no method to get that breast volume restored, outside of breast implants. There aren’t muscles to build back up, exercises to do, or supplements to take. So, many of these women are turning to breast implants to get their breasts back to how they originally looked. Now that they’ve lost size, shape, and volume, these women are looking to restore them to their original shapely look. This might be designated part of a “mommy makeover”, if it is combined with liposuction or another surgery.
