Mothers make many sacrifices over the years, starting with the moment that they become pregnant. While most mothers are happy to make these sacrifices, it is nice when a mother is able to do something for herself to reverse the damage of the sacrifice of giving birth.

There are many different procedures that can be included in a Mommy Makeover. The following four procedures are the most common ones included. You can discuss your personal goals and determine which procedures should be part of your rejuvenation strategy when you have your consultation.

Liposuction

All women gain some extra fat and tissue around their abdomen, thighs, and buttocks during pregnancy. While diet and exercise are important for getting your body back to normal, they don’t always allow you to get the body contouring that you are looking for. Sometimes fat is simply resistant to diet and exercise. Liposuction can reduce the fat in these areas.

Tummy Tuck

Sometimes the abdomen becomes too stretched from pregnancy to be able to snap back to its previous shape. If you have exercised and dieted as much as possible and still have that pooched abdomen, a tummy tuck can help you get your waist back. The tummy tuck removes excess skin, fat, and tissue from the abdomen to make you thinner.

Breast Lift

A breast lift is a common procedure for a Mommy Makeover. After pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding, the breasts can become stretched and sagging. A breast lift will bring back the perky, round, beautiful breasts that you had prior to giving birth.

Breast Reduction or Augmentation

Some women experience their breasts becoming very large after having children, and their new size does not seem to abate even after breastfeeding is no longer an issue. For these women, a breast reduction and lift might be appropriate. For other women, sagging and deflated breasts can occur after breastfeeding. For women who have lost volume, a breast augmentation with implants may be appropriate.

If you are finished having children and you are ready to do something just for you, contact us today for more information or to schedule your consultation.

“I had my first surgery in 2008 with Dr. Adams amazing results! No regrets returning when I wanted to change in 2019. I also had a lower blepharoplasty last year and it was and is absolute perfection ! I healed quickly with no signs of having the procedure done shortly after everyone was amazed at the results:)”
