cup sizeIf you have ever been in the situation where you don’t feel feminine enough, and the idea of replacing your breast implants to the next level arises, would you do it? There are risks such as back aches, tenderness around the breast area, and the somewhat annoyance of your breasts getting in the way of everyday life (such as running and physical activity). Going up a size or two may make you change how you feel about yourself, and the attraction you may receive from others. Replacing breast implants to a larger size can make you stand out from the crowd, and your confidence and self-esteem can go from zero to hero. But there is always a downfall from going up.

However, if you’re in the category of already having breast implants and wanting to remove them due to back and neck pain, then the choice is simply yours. The medical issues outweigh the confidence it may give you in life, but always remember that your health comes first. Removing can only take the pressure off your back and help you be able to take part in physical activities. Depending on the type of implants, it may be worth speaking to a surgeon, to see if the procedure will be safe enough and that there are no risks or potentially negative consequences. An example would be leakage from silicone implants, or having shapeless breasts after the implants have been removed.

Exchanging one type of breast implant for another may be beneficial for posture and neck issues. Always have a breast augmentation before deciding on whether to go down a size or whether to go up, or in some cases, taking them out completely and going back to having natural breasts. Side effects from this can also include inevitable scars that you may be stuck with for life unless you go through special treatments in order to remove the scars. In some cases, the scars can fade over time. But when it comes to replacing breast implants, ensure that you are seeking the right surgeon and are prepared to either go down or up. It is a big decision, as women are cautious of the size of their breasts – some are naturally flat chested whilst others were lucky enough during their puberty stages to develop breasts that need no surgical attention.

Other issues when increasing the size, is the experience of a tight feeling around your breasts, as your skin adapts to the new shape and size. Another is how the implants settle, they may either go in a high or low position, or in some cases, lopsided. Consultation with a trusted surgeon is critical in deciding on whether to replace your breast implants or remove them. There is also plenty of support and guidance from online forums of other women who are doing the exact same procedure. Always remember to think about the decision and do your own research before taking the big leap. Therefore, you should take your time and decide what is best for you and your health.

“I had my first surgery in 2008 with Dr. Adams amazing results! No regrets returning when I wanted to change in 2019. I also had a lower blepharoplasty last year and it was and is absolute perfection ! I healed quickly with no signs of having the procedure done shortly after everyone was amazed at the results:)”
